
Cam Bakker Called up to ECHL South Carolina

Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs News Release
ROANOKE, Va. - The Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs announced on Tuesday that defenseman Cam Bakker has been called up to the ECHL's South Carolina Stingrays.
Bakker heads back to South Carolina after appearing in two games with the Dawgs over the weekend. He picked up three assists and recorded a +5 plus/minus rating during Roanoke's weekend sweep over the Evansville Thunderbolts. Bakker opened the season with the Stingrays but did not appear in a game before being returned to the Rail Yard Dawgs on November 6. The Liberty University graduate is in his second professional season and had one goal 12 assists over 26 games for the Dawgs in the 2017-18 season.
The Rail Yard Dawgs return to action on Friday night at home against the Macon Mayhem. It's Boo the U night and anyone with a ticket to Saturday's Virginia Tech-Miami football game can show it at the box office for a discount on tickets to Friday's game. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 PM at Berglund Center. The pregame show begins at 6:50 PM on the Haley Toyota Rail Yard Dawgs Hockey Network.
