The Montreal Association opened its doors in 1975, and since then, has matched over 3000 children with responsible volunteering adults. The youngsters come from various and different backgrounds. Youths benefiting from the services prove a 20% higher than average high school graduating rate. Mentor relationships help improve a youngster's self-esteem and create a higher level of confidence, also aiding to form better family ties.
