
Calgary Stampeder Football Club names Darrell Moir Senior Vice-President of Marketing and Operations

Former Stampeder (1979-85) Darrell and his family made Calgary home following an eight year career in the Canadian Football League that ended with the Toronto Argonauts. He spent six years at Critical Mass helping to grow a fledgling digital marketing firm from a "family" of 15 to an industry leading interactive marketing company of more than 200 employees with consistent track record of financial and operating success and a Fortune 500 client list. He started with Critical Mass as a Marketing Director and as the company quickly grew, moved to the role of Vice President of Communications and ultimately held the title of Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Critical Mass, Darrell spent 10 years at the Glencoe Club in Calgary, most of those years as part of the senior management team of one of North America's finest private athletic and golf club. Recently, Darrell was a member of senior management at Calgary's largest and most vibrant athletic and wellness facility, Talisman Centre for Sport and Wellness.
Residing in N.W. Calgary, Darrell and his wife Donna have three sons who are all actively involved competitive hockey. Sean 20, plays Junior A hockey in Drayton Valley, Kyle, 18, plays with the WHL's Swift Current Broncos and was a recent draft choice of the Nashville's Predators and Tyler, 16, plays Midget AAA for the Edge School in Calgary.
