CALGARY HITMEN NEWS AND NOTES
HITMEN HEADLINES: Calgary (7-8-1-1) wraps up a six-game East Division road trip tomorrow night when they visit the Swift Current Broncos (7-9-2-0). The Hitmen are 2-2-1 on the season-long trip which started last Tuesday with a 5-2 win in Prince Albert followed by a 4-1 loss Wednesday in Saskatoon. On Friday the Hitmen dropped a 5-2 decision in Brandon then bounced back to post a 3-2 win Saturday in Regina. Calgary enters Tuesday's matchup coming off a 3-2 overtime loss Sunday in Moose Jaw. Both teams scored twice in the opening frame, with the Hitmen getting on the board first on goals from Jaynen Rissling and Brady Brassart. Following scoreless second and third periods, the Warriors capitalized on a powerplay opportunity 1:22 into overtime. Calgary outshot the Warriors 35-29 in the overtime loss including 16-5 in the third period.
VS. SWIFT CURRENT: Tonight is the third of four meetings with the Broncos. Calgary leads the season series 2-0. Last season Swift Current won the season series taking three of four meetings. The Hitmen and the Broncos won't meet again until Wednesday, February 29 in Calgary.

MUCH IMPROVED: It took until December 3, or Game 28 for the Hitmen to win their seventh game of the season a year ago. This season's seventh win came in Game 16.

STREAKS: Brooks Macek (3a) has points in his last three games. Jaynen Rissling (1g 2a), Brady Brassart (1g 1a) and Jimmy Bubnick (2a) all have points in back-to-back games.
EAST FEAST: Calgary is 5-2-1-1 against teams from the East Division including a 4-1-1 record on the road in Saskatchewan.
NHL PROSPECTS: Brooks Macek (6th round Detroit 2010); Alex Roach (three-year, entry-level contract LA 2011); Victor Rask (three-year, entry-level contract Carolina 2011).
REGULAR SEASON CAREER WATCH: Jimmy Bubnick needs two assists for 100. Brock Sutherland is one games shy of 200. Cody Sylvester needs three assists for 50 and is five games away from 200.

Cody Sylvester, Victor Rask, Brady Brassart and Chris Driedger along with Farley the Fox will be on-site to collect ballots and sign autographs from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the display in front of Jersey City.
MEET & GREET: After each home game this season a Hitmen player will be signing autographs at the Booster Club table located behind section 212. Goaltender Brandon Glover will be signing on Friday, November 11.
