
Calgary Assigns DuPont to Saint John

Calgary, AB - Calgary Flames Vice-President & General Manager Craig Button announced today defenceman Micki DuPont has been reassigned to the Saint John Flames of the American Hockey League.
DuPont has played nine games with Calgary this season recording one goal. In 14 games with Saint John the 5'10" 186 lbs. rearguard posted 11 points (4 goals, 7 assists) leading the team's defence in scoring. In 156 AHL career games with Saint John, DuPont has collected 80 points (19 goals, 61 assists). The Calgary, AB native scored the game-winner for the Canadian Team at the 2002 Deutschland Cup held in Hanover, Germany earlier this month. The Flames drafted DuPont in the ninth round, 270th overall, in the 2000 Entry Draft.
