Cal Heeter Joins Phantoms

The Phantoms have announced that Cal Heeter (G) has been reassigned to Adirondack from the Trenton Titans of the ECHL, according to Philadelphia Flyers' general manager Paul Holmgren.

Cal Heeter, 24, is a rookie goalie out of Ohio State who has gone 8-13-2 with the Phantoms this season, 2.96 goals-against average and a .906 saves percentage.

Heeter played in consecutive games with Trenton on Thursday and Friday this week going 1-1-0 and allowing 6 total goals. On the season with the Titans, he is 2-2-0 in 5 games, 3.14, .899.

He signed with the Flyers organization last March after the 6'4" native of St. Louis had a solid senior season with the Buckeyes going 13-11-5, 2.45, .918.

The Phantoms conclude their homestand tonight at 7:00 against the Connecticut Whale, AHL affiliate of the New York Rangers. Phantoms T-Shirts for the first 2,500 fans.
