
Cade Neilson Commits to Division I Alaska Fairbanks

The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League are pleased to announce that forward Cade Meilson has announced his commitment to The University of Alaska Fairbanks beginning in the 2021-2022 season. the 18 year old 5'11", 176 LBS left handed Center from Nottingham Great Britain is in his first season with the Wings. So far this year he has 7 goals and 14 assists (21 points) in 32 games played. Cade also spent time with Team Great Britain at the World Juniors where he had 2 goals and 6 assists in 5 games played, helping them to a silver medal and earning himself Top Player on Team Great Britain. Cade has been a winner everywhere he has been. He was an EIHA U11 & U13 Conference All Star. He a gold medal on the 17-18 U18 World Junior Cup D2A team. In the 2018-2019 season Cade was a member of the MJAHL Championship Team and won Bronze at the World Junior Cup D2A.
