EL PASO, Texas â The El Paso Buzzards CEO, Bill Davidson, will be available for comment to individual media when the Buzzards look to improve their home record at 3 p.m., Sunday, at the El Paso County Coliseum against the Amarillo Gorillas.
"I want to clear the air and assure everybody involved with the Buzzards' organization that we are working diligently to get everything resolved and to dispel rumors that buzzards are flying over the Buzzards," Davidson said. "The team has hit a few bumps in the road, but the organization is working with the Central Hockey League to resolve those issues."
Davidson will arrive at the coliseum at 2:30 p.m. and will grant individual interviews to reporters. The reporters are encouraged to ask any questions concerning the potential formation of the local ownership group and the state of the Buzzards.
"It will be exciting when we secure an ownership group with strong ties within the community and in the business world," said Davidson. "The greatest asset I can bring to the Sun City is I know the hockey business and I know El Paso."
The Buzzards look to continue their winning ways at the Nest when they battle the Amarillo Gorillas at 3 p.m., Sunday at the El Paso County Coliseum. The Buzzards lead the season series at 1-0-3 this season against Amarillo.
