
Buzz to host media day and open house

Maywood, CA - Maywood Buzz will kick off their 2006-2007 season in Hollywood style with their 1st Annual Maywood Buzz Media Day & Open House.
The Maywood city council will open the festivities with a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the team's first year in Maywood.
"This is a big move for the Buzz. We have always tried to make moves that will take the team to new heights," says General Manager Burrel Lee, III. "I think this will be winner for all who are involved. We want everyone to come out, meet the players and learn about some of the things the Buzz has in store for the city of Maywood."
Stop by, take a minute to mix and mingle with former NBA veterans Cedric Ceballos & Tony Farmer; as well as 2005-2006 ABA All-Stars and current Buzz players Will Burr & Ramel 'Rock' Lloyd and other players, also meet the Buzz staff, and the fabulous HoneyBeez Dance Team.
Come watch the Buzz players play a light scrimmage game and all who are in attendance can participate in special contests and give-a-ways.
Tickets will be on sale for all future games.

The Maywood Buzz home opener will be Friday, November 24th, 2006 vs. The Hollywood Fame at Maywood Activity Center. Tickets for the game are on sale now.
