Milwaukee Wave News Release
MILWAUKEE (Dec. 27, 2007) -- Interest in the Milwaukee Wave of Kindness Harley-Davidson is growing as more signatures are applied to the custom-painted bike prior to the April 26 raffle drawing.
Beginning today, fans can buy tickets to win the bike online at www.milwaukeewave.com. Using the security of PayPal, fans across the country can purchase tickets in blocks of six for just $5 each. Tickets will be mailed directly to you.
Soccer legend Pele is the most famous signature on the bike. He is joined by five-time Olympic gold medalist Bonnie Blair, former Packers Fuzzy Thurston, Gilbert Brown and Craig Newsome, actor Mark Metcalf, Wave coach Keith Tozer and the entire Wave team.
"We're far from finished collecting signatures," said , director of public relations for the Wave. "The presence of Pele, especially, makes inclusion in this project very attractive to some of the biggest names in sports."
Continue to visit milwaukeewave.com for announcements when new signatures are added, and order tickets anytime. The winning name will be drawn at the Major Indoor Soccer League championship game in Milwaukee on April 26.
Raffle proceeds will benefit Wave of Kindness, a nonprofit organization that brings soccer to inner-city youth through camp scholarships, game tickets, clinics and more. For more information on Wave of Kindness, visit www.milwaukeewave.com and click on the Wave of Kindness link.
