BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox are home Tuesday, June 21 through Sunday, June 26 for a six-game homestand against the Trenton Thunder and Altoona Curve.
Tuesday, June 21, 6:35 p.m.: Dollar Dog Night - Fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs from the time gates open until the end of the fourth inning every Tuesday (limit 2 hot dogs per person, per transaction). Tailgate Tuesday - Fans can watch batting practice, play cornhole, enjoy live music and partake in $2 draft beer specials in the Bud Light picnic pavilion from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, June 22, 6:35 p.m.: Twins Night Fest - Calling all sets of twins...bring your twin to the game and get two box seat tickets for just $22 - game day only. This night will be all about twins with fun activities, games and more. Military Appreciation Night - $8 Box Seat with proof of service. Ticket must be purchased at the box office.
Thursday, June 23, 6:35 p.m.: Olympics Night - Meet three former Olympians as the Baysox get ready for the Summer Game in Rio. Larry Hughes won a Gold Medal in the discus at the 1996 Paralympics in Atlanta. Jennifer Rodriguez competed in four Winter Olympics (1998, 2002, 2006, 2010) as a speedskater, winning two Bronze Medals in Salt Lake City in 2001. Joseph Singleton was a powerlifter on the 1992 US Paralympic Team.
Friday, June 24, 7:05 p.m.: Boy Scout Camp Out - the Baysox invite scouts to camp out on the field after the game. The team is offering discounted tickets and food vouchers to scouts, and any scout with a ticket to the game can camp in the outfield. Saturday, June 25, 6:35 p.m.: Star Wars Night - Grab your lightsabers, jump in your landspeeders and get ready for Star Wars Night. Star Wars enthusiasts don movie-quality replica costumes and there will be characters and displays throughout the stadium, including lightsaber battles on the field. Members of Louie's Kids Club can purchase a special ticket package that includes early entrance for a special meet & greet session at www.baysoxshop.com. Postgame Fireworks Show
Sunday, June 26, 2:05 p.m.: Maryland Pride Day with special edition Baysox Maryland Flag logo T-shirt giveaway to the first 500 fans ages 13 and older, presented by Money One Federal Credit Union. The Baysox will wear special Maryland Flag jerseys that will be part of game-worn jersey auction. Meet the Team #1 - Baysox players and coaches are available to meet fans and sign autographs on the concourse level of the stadium from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Pitching Coach Alan Mills and that day's starting pitcher and catcher are not available for autographs. Pre-Game Catch on the Field - The outfield will be open before the start of the game for fans to bring their gloves and baseballs and play catch on the field. Bud Light 1K Beer Run - Make 3 laps around the warning track at the stadium and get a beer after completing each lap of the pregame 1K beer run. Must be 21 years or older and provide valid ID to participate. Pre-registration at www.baysoxshop.com required. Looney Tunes Day with appearances by your favorite characters! Meet Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester, Tweety Bird and Wile E. Coyote.
