
Burt, Paquette, and Brahaney Commit to the Kingston Frontenacs

Kingston-- General Manager Doug Gilmour announced today Robbie Burt, Jacob Paquette, and Jakob Brahaney have committed to the team and entered into Standard Player Agreements with the team at the club's Prospect Mini-Camp and Orientation held at Rogers K-Rock Centre on May 15 and 16, 2015.
"We are thrilled to welcome Robbie, Jacob, Jakob and their families to our organization," said Gilmour. "Our scouting staff was very impressed with this year's draft. We feel this was one of the most talented drafts we've seen in a number of years and Robbie, Jacob, and Jakob will be a big part of the future of our hockey club, and great fits to our team this season."
Burt, a 1999 born forward who turns 16 on May 29, was the 11th overall selection in the first round, the first selection by the Frontenacs this past April in the OHL Priority Selection presented by State Farm. The 5-foot 11-inch, 193-pound power forward impressed scouts across the OHL with his 26 goals and 27 assists in 64 games this season playing right wing with the Mississauga Rebels.
Paquette, a 1999 born defenceman who turns 16 on May 26, was the 31st overall selection in the second round, the second selection by the Frontenacs this past April in the OHL Priority Selection presented by State Farm. The 6-foot 2-inch, 183-pound defenceman made an impact with the Ottawa Jr. 67s this past season, with 5 goals and 7 assists in 26 games.
Brahaney, a 1999 born defenceman who turned 16 on March 26, was the 37th overall selection in the second round, the third selection by the Frontenacs this past April in the OHL Priority Selection presented by State Farm. The 6-foot 1-inch, 167-point defenceman was impressive with his 8 goals and 23 assists in 36 games this past season with the Quinte Red Devils.
