
Burn Add Two Players For Saturday's Game Against Fever

BOISE, Idaho ¾ The Boise Burn have today been assigned B.J. Rhode and Jeremy Wiggins by the arenafootball2 League Office.
Rhode, 6-6 and 260-pounds, was a back up QB at Boise State University (BSU) from 1998-2002 playing behind both Bart Hendricks (current Burn QB) and Ryan Dinwiddie who is with the Canadian Football League's Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Rhode started one game in his junior year and five games in his senior year with BSU going a perfect 6-0 as a starter.
Wiggins, a four-year starter with Appalachian State, is a 5-10, 190-pound DB. In his senior year as a Mountaineer (2006), Wiggins led the team in tackles with 61.5 tackles (3.5 for loss) and interceptions with 5. The Mountaineers finished the season with a 14-1 record and won the NCAA Division 1-AA National Championship. In his junior year, Wiggins led the Mountaineers in tackles with 97.5 (1 for loss) while recording 2 interceptions helping the Mountaineers with a 12-3 record and the NCAA Division 1-AA National Championship.
Both players will be suited up for Saturday's game at Qwest Arena against the Tri-Cities Fever. Kick off is at 7:00 pm.
All home games are televised live on Cable One Channel 17 and will also be available on the B2 Networks through www.af2.com. All 16 Boise Burn games will be broadcast exclusively on Journal Broadcast Group's KGEM 1140 AM with Scott Conklin calling the action. The broadcasts will include a 10-minute pre-game show and feature player and coach interviews as well as news about the Burn and the AFL and af2.
