Chicago Wolves News Release

The Chicago Wolves are supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month by selling pink "Stick it to Breast Cancer" T-shirts throughout October, and by auctioning off pink stinks during their 7 p.m. game against the Abbotsford Heat at the Allstate Arena on Sat., Oct. 24.

Fans will have a chance to purchase pink T-shirts for a $20 dollar donation beginning on Sat., Oct. 17, when the Wolves host the Hamilton Bulldogs. The T-shirts also will be available for purchase before and during the games on Fri., Oct. 23, and Sat., Oct. 24, or by calling 1-800-THE-WOLVES, while supplies last.

On Oct. 24, the team will hit the ice with special pink sticks during warm-ups. Following warm-ups, the pink sticks will be autographed and made available at a silent auction and raffle at the Allstate Arena. Proceeds from the auction and raffle, which also features the chance to win other team-signed memorabilia, will benefit the Breast Cancer Network of Strength and Chicago Wolves Charities.

"We are proud to promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month," said Wolves Vice President of Operations Courtney Mahoney. "Breast cancer has touched many of us and it is important for us to do everything we can to raise money for the cause."

Fans are encouraged to wear pink at the Oct. 24 game in a show of solidarity in the fight against this devastating disease.

For more information, or tickets to the game, call 1-800-THE-WOLVES or visit chicagowolves.com.
