Tonight's Matchup: Tonight, the San Francisco Bulls host the Stockton Thunder at HP Pavilion at San Jose, home of the San Jose Sharks, the Bulls' NHL affiliate. This is the fourth of 13 meetings between these two Pacific Division rivals. The Bulls are 3-0-0-0 against the Thunder this season.

In their latest meeting this past Thursday, the Bulls defeated the Thunder, 4-3, in overtime, in dramatic fashion at the Cow Palace, home of the Bulls. Heading into the third period, the two teams were knotted at one. Twice in the third period Stockton scored to take the lead, and twice the Bulls responded. Bulls forward Andrew Crescenzi scored with 2:56 remaining in regulation to force overtime. A late third-period penalty against the Thunder put the Bulls on the power play in the extra session. With 1:13 elapsed in overtime, Bulls forward Peter Sivak ripped a shot by goaltender Tyler Bunz for the game-winning tally.

Crescenzi finished with two points (1 goal, 1 assist), while Daniil Tarasov and Kris Belan also scored for the Bulls. Thomas Heemskerk earned the win, stopping 33 shots. Eric Hunter, Harrison Reed and Ryan Constant scored for Stockton.

The Bulls are coming off of a 4-1 win against the Condors in Bakersfield on Saturday. Dean Ouellet scored his team-leading 15th goal of the season to break the 1-1 tie in the second period. Belan scored the Bulls' first shorthanded goal in team history in the third period. Heemskerk earned his 10th win of the season, turning aside 26 shots.

Stockton enters tonight's game after splitting a two-game set at home against the Colorado Eagles. They won 4-1 on Friday against Colorado, but were then edged by the Eagles 2-1 on Saturday.

Offensively, the Bulls are paced by Justin Bowers and Dean Ouellet, each with 26 points. Stockton is led up front by Harrison Reed with 26 points. He is tied for the team lead with 13 goals with Toni Rajala.
