Walleye Notes

- A Perfect Week! Toledo got back in the win column on Wednesday night with a 5-2 win that snapped a three game losing streak. Toledo scored three unanswered goals in the third period to seal the win. 3's were wild again on Saturday night as Toledo snapped a three game losing streak to Evansville with another three goal third period in a 4-0 win. Toledo finished strong again on Sunday, outscoring the Florida Everblades 2-0 in the third to post a 4-2 win.

- A New Home Record! By winning all three home games this week, the Walleye have set a new record for most consecutive home wins. The previous mark was four consecutive wins, reached three different times. The All-Time Toledo ECHL record is 18 consecutive home wins set February 14 - November 12, 1993.

- Owning the Final Period! Toledo scored eight goals in this week in each of the third periods. The Walleye did not allow a third period from any of the opposition. Toledo has outscored opponents 40-27 in the third period this season.

- Rolling Along! Walleye forward Willie Coetzee has scored at least one goal in each of the last five games with a total of 6 goals. Andrej Nestrasil has collected at least one assist in each of the last eight games with a total of 10 assists. The Walleye overall record is a season high six games above .500.

- Game Time! Toledo has just two games this week before the holiday break. Both games will be played in Greenville against the Road Warriors. This will be the first meetings of the season between the two teams. The All-Time record against the Road Warriors is 1-5-1 for Toledo, including 1-4-0 last season.
