Bulls Ready for Game 2 Tonight Versus Fresno

BLAINE, MN - The Amarillo Bulls will look to make it two-for-two, when they take on the Fresno Monsters, on day two of the North American Hockey League Showcase tonight (Thursday) at 8:15 pm at the Schwan Super Rink.

On Wednesday morning, the Bulls notched their first win ever, thanks to the heroics of goaltender Nikifor Szczerba and forward Joe Kozlak, as they beat the Michigan Warriors 4-3. Four of the seven goals were netted on the power play and Szczerba stopped 34 of 37 shots he faced.

The Monsters didn't fare as well in their first game as they dropped a 7-2 decision to the Bismarck Bobcats.

Fans can tune into the action on ESPN 1440 AM, beginning with the Bulls Warm Up Show at 8 pm. Denis J. Puska has all of the exciting play-by-play coverage starting at 8:15 pm. The game is also available on pay-per-view for just $6.95 through Fast Hockey, and a high speed internet connection is required in order to watch it. After Thursday's game, the Bulls will face the Port Huron Fighting Falcons on Friday at 8 pm and then close out the Showcase on Saturday morning against the St. Louis Bandits at 9:45 am.
