Bulls Partner with United Way of Quinte

BELLEVILLE, ON - For the second year the Belleville Bulls teamed up with the United Way of Quinte to help raise money for the Change Starts Here campaign. The United Way of Quinte set a goal of $2,090,000 goal for the 2014 campaign, and the Bulls were glad to lend a helping hand anyway they could.

On Sunday November 23rd your Bulls hosted United Way night at the Yardmen Arena. Fans were offered a United Way voucher to receive a ticket for the low price of $13.50, and for every voucher redeemed the Bulls donated $5.00 back to the Change Starts Here campaign. Volunteers from the United Way of Quinte held a raffle for some great prizes donated by some of their great partners, as well as, a silent auction for a P.K. Subban signed Montreal Canadians jersey that brought in over $800.00.

When it was all said and done Bulls fan's helped raise $1605.00 for the United Way of Quinte's Change Starts Here campaign. When asked about the success and partnership between the Bulls and United Way of Quinte, Executive Director Judi Gilbert had this to say "We have many wonderful partners in the community and we are proud to include the Belleville Bulls in this group. Our partnership with the Bulls is very new and we are very excited to know that it will continue to grow in the years to come. "
