AMARILLO, TX - It was another busy weekend of action for Amarillo Bulls Alumni in NCAA Division I and Division III play. Forward Hampus Gustafsson led the way for Merrimack in a game against Tyler Deresky and Bentley, while Gage Christianson found the back of the net for Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Gustafsson netted his second goal of the season as Merrimack defeated Bentley 3-1. Hampus and his brother John have combined for a total of three goals. Deresky has played in Bentley's four regular season games to date but has no points.

American International suffered a 5-4 setback to Michigan State in East Lansing. Defenseman Brandon Lubin, who hails from Michigan, picked up an assist on the third American goal.

Penn State edged Robert Morris 5-4 as former Bulls' forward Ricky DeRosa added another assist. Greg Gibson and John Rey didn't figure in the scoring for the Colonials.

On Saturday, Luke Jenkins picked up an assist as Army dropped a 5-2 decision to Bentley. Forward Cody Freeman set up the first Canisius goal in a 5-2 loss to Miami (Ohio).

Army fell to Connecticut 4-2 with no Bulls Alumni figuring in the scoring. Clint Carlisle, Luke Jenkins and Joe Kozlak have played in all four Army games, while Garrett Peterson has suited in three.

At the Division III level, Dan McDougall notched an assist as Neumann dropped a 4-2 decision to Elmira. Gage Christianson scored for the Milwaukee School of Engineering in a 4-3 loss to St. Scholastica.

Blake Roubos also added an assist as Lawrence fell to Concordia of Wisconsin 6-2.

The Amarillo Bulls close out a two game set against the Lone Star Brahmas tomorrow (Wednesday) night at NYTEX Center at 7:30 pm. Fans can tune into the game live on CBS Sports Radio 1440, www.amarillobulls.com and on PPV courtesy of Fast Hockey, beginning with the Wayland Baptist University Warm Up Show at at 7:15 pm.

Hockey is back at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center on Friday, Nov. 22 and Saturday, Nov. 23 as the Amarillo Bulls host the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees. Friday is Military Appreciation Night, while Saturday fans are encouraged to support the food bank.
