BRADENTON, Fla. -- Indiana native Bryan Bullington tossed four scoreless innings as Indianapolis and Norfolk played to a 2-2 tie Sunday afternoon at Pie Traynor Field.
Bullington (4.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 4 SO), a right-hander who pitched at Ball State from 2000-02, retired the first six hitters he faced.
CF Nyjer Morgan led the Indians with a 2-for-2 effort and one stolen base, while 1B Daniel Rios also went 2-for-2 with a pair of singles. Tribe 3B Chris Truby crossed the plate on an error in the fourth inning and 1B Carlos Ruiz scored on a double steal in the eighth.
