SYRACUSE (NY) - Blue Jays ace Roy Halladay tossed five scoreless innings and struck out seven Ottawa Lynx leading the Syracuse Chiefs to a 4-1 victory against the Ottawa Lynx on Saturday at the Phillies complex in Clearwater, Florida.
Jays backup catcher Jason Phillips accompanied Halladay on the trip to Clearwater and hit a home run for Syracuse. Shortstop Sergio Santos also connected for his first home run of the spring.
The Chiefs (1-2) host the Lynx Sunday at 1:00 PM at the Blue Jays complex in Dunedin, Florida.
