
Bullfrogs Back in Action Following Opening Night Defeat

Green Bay, Wis.- Following a 4-1 loss on opening night in front of a sellout crowd last night, the Green Bay Bullfrogs are looking to get even in the two-game series tonight against the La Crosse Loggers. The game is set for 6:35 p.m. at Joannes Stadium.
The Loggers took the early lead in the first inning with a RBI single by second baseman Jordan Zimmerman and scored three more runs in the second, highlighted by Graham Spraker's two-RBI double.
Bullfrogs' starter Garrett Harrison settled down in the rest of his outing and pitched 7 1/3 innings before giving way to reliever Jeremy Graf.
Green Bay's lone run came in the bottom of the third from Paul Jacobson's RBI single that scored Caleb Ratzman.
The Bullfrogs will be in action tonight season finale against the Loggers with Mike Ellenbest on the mound. In his eight starts with Saginaw Valley State, Ellenbest finished with a 5-3 record and a 2.57 ERA in 49 innings pitched. He led the Cardinals with 54 strikeouts.
Starting for the Loggers will be Graham Spraker. He finished his college season with a 2.16 ERA in 12 starts for Quincy University. Spraker started as the designated hitter last night for the Loggers.
The Bullfrogs will host a two-game series against the St. Cloud Rox on May 28-29 at Joannes Stadium.
