
Bulldogs Lose 2-1 to Moose in Double Overtime

Winnipeg, MB - The Hamilton Bulldogs were defeated by the Manitoba Moose 2-1 in double overtime in Game 4 of the North Division Final which ties the series 2-2. Mario Bliznak provided the overtime winner for the Moose while Eddie Lack stopped 43 shots for the Moose.
Following a scoreless first period, the Bulldogs scored at 6:50 of the second stanza while on the power play to take a 1-0 lead. Brendon Nash sent the puck along the blue line to Kyle Klubertanz. Klubertanz sent the puck to Gabriel Dumont, who was positioned at the left faceoff dot. Dumont spun around and fired a shot on net that rolled down the back of Manitoba starting goaltender Eddie Lack and across the goal line.
The Moose tied the game 1-1 at 17:58 of the final frame. Kevin Clark sent the puck to Bliznak who was at the left point. Bliznak blasted a shot that was stopped by Hamilton starting goaltender Drew MacIntyre. The rebound bounced out to the front of the net, where Guillaume Desbiens whacked it past Macintyre and into the back of the net.
Manitoba won the game 2-1 at 11:54 of the second overtime period. Jordan Schroeder carried the puck into the Hamilton zone before dropping the puck to Mario Bliznak. Bliznak fired a shot past MacIntyre and into the back of the net for the victory.

The âDogs and Moose will battle in Game 5 on Friday, May 6th at 8:30 p.m. EST in Winnipeg. The teams will return to Hamilton for Game 6 on Sunday, May 8th at 7:30 p.m. at Copps Coliseum.
