Bulldogs Fall 3-0 to Barons

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - The Oklahoma City Barons bested the Hamilton Bulldogs 3-0 in the final game of the 'Dogs' franchise record-long 12-game, 26-day road trip.

After a scoreless first period, the Barons took a 1-0 lead when Antti Tyrvainen scored an unassisted 2-on-1 shorthanded goal against Bulldogs netminder Peter Delmas just 3:22 into the second period. Barons goaltender David LeNeveu turned away 14 shots in the period while Delmas faced 7 shots.

At 8:36 in the third period, Hunter Tremblay doubled the Barons' lead on a pass from Mark Arcobello. Tyler Pitlick also earned an assist on the play. Ryan Keller would add an empty net goal with 35 seconds to play to cement Oklahoma City's 3-0 win. The Barons edged the Bulldogs 35-30 on the shot clock.

The Bulldogs will now return home to Copps Coliseum to take on the Rochester Americans at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 7th, 2012.
