HAMILTON, ONTARIO. The Hamilton Bulldogs can now concentrate on the 1st round of the OHL playoffs after wrapping up the regular season with an 8-4 loss Friday night in Sudbury.

The Bulldogs were first on the board as Liam Stevens (6) scored at the 11:21 mark of the 1st period but the Wolves responded less than two minutes later to tie the game 1-1.

The Wolves came out hungry for more in the 2nd period scoring three goals, two of which were scored 7 seconds apart to take a 4-1 lead. Late in the period, Dylan D'Agostino (1) scored his first career OHL goal to cut the Wolves lead in half at 4-2 after 40 minutes.

Six goals were scored in the 3rd period but unfortunately for the Bulldogs, Sudbury scored four times with Logan Morrison (14) on the powerplay and Arthur Kaliyev (51) responding for Hamilton as the game finished 8-4 Wolves.

Hamilton closes out the 2018-2019 regular season with a record of 29-34-3-2 good for 8th place in the Eastern Conference. That means the Bulldogs will meet the Ottawa 67's in the 1st round of the OHL Playoffs.
