Bulldogs Down Admirals With 4-1 Win

Milwaukee, WI - The Hamilton Bulldogs defeated the Milwaukee Admirals 4-1 on Thursday night in Milwaukee. Frederic St. Denis scored two goals to lead the 'Dogs to victory.
With Milwaukee forward Ben Guite in the penalty box with a five-minute major, the Bulldogs opened the game's scoring at 15:34 of the first period. Tom Pyatt took a shot that was stopped by Milwaukee starting goaltender Mark Dekanich. The save put the goaltender out of the play, which allowed P.K. Subban to grab the loose rebound and fire the puck past an out of position Dekanich. Hamilton took a 2-0 lead at 18:25 with another power-play marker from the same Milwaukee major penalty. J.T. Wyman received the puck from Mike Glumac before sending a pass to Andre Benoit. Benoit fired a shot that beat Dekanich on the blocker side.
The Admirals made the game 2-1 at 4:48 of the second stanza. James Sexsmith fed a pass to Hugh Jessiman, who was positioned in front of the net. Jessiman released a shot past Hamilton starting goaltender Curtis Sanford, off the crossbar and into the back of the net.
The 'Dogs regained their two-goal lead at 9:26 of the middle frame. Max Pacioretty sent a pass to St. Denis, who blasted a shot on net. The puck bounced around between Dekanich's pads before trickling over the goal line. St. Denis picked up his second goal at 17:14. St. Denis collected the puck before ripping a shot over the shoulder of Dekanich and into the top of the net.
The Bulldogs will meet the Chicago Wolves at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 30th in Chicago.
