Canucks Assign Hansen To Moose For Conditioning

The Vancouver Canucks today announced they have assigned right winger Jannik Hansen to Manitoba for conditioning.

Hansen, 23, has played in 24 games so far this season with the Canucks where he has collected nine points (5g & 4a) along with six penalty minutes. In 84 NHL games with Vancouver, the Harlev, Denmark native has scored 30 points (11g & 19a) while racking up 45 penalty minutes.

Hansen has also played in 124 career games with the Manitoba Moose over his first four seasons. In that span, he has recorded 78 points (34g & 44a) along with 62 penalty minutes.

Hansen was originally drafted by Vancouver in the ninth round, 287th overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
