'Bugs to Face RiverKings Twice in Preseason

Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs News Release
BOSSIER CITY, LA - The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs of the Central Hockey League today announced their 2010 preseason schedule, which features two road exhibition games against the Mississippi RiverKings in Southaven, Mississippi. 2010 will mark the third consecutive year in which the two rivals have played prior to the start of the regular season.
The Mudbugs and RiverKings are set to face off in a pair of preseason bouts during training camp at the DeSoto Civic Center this year. The first game will take place on Saturday, October 9 at 6:05 pm, with the second contest coming the next afternoon on Sunday, October 10 at 3:05.
The 'Bugs will then return home for another week of training camp prior to their 2010-11 season opener against Mississippi on Friday, October 15 at the CenturyTel Center. Opening weekend continues for Bossier-Shreveport with the second half of a home-and-home set vs. the 'Kings on Saturday, October 16 in Southaven.
Ticketing information for the two preseason games at the DeSoto Civic Center will be released in the near future. The Mudbugs will pass those details along to our fans once they are finalized and announced by the RiverKings front office.
