The Bucks look to salvage their final pre-season tune-up against their division rival Ice Rays, who are playing their only exhibition contest.
Laredo has dropped each of their pre-season games to Rio Grande Valley, falling Thursday in Laredo 5-2, and losing last night in Hidalgo 4-3.
The Bucks line-up in the pre-season has been without many of their top stars, to give the 15 rookies on the roster a chance to prove themselves.
After tonight's game Bucks Head Coach and General Manager Terry Ruskowski will further evaluate his team, and start trimming his roster down from 26 to 19. The Bucks must announce their 19-man regular season roster by Thursday (Oct 16th), the day before the season opener against Rocky Mountain.
Corpus Christi will play their lone pre-season game tonight, before starting the regular season next Saturday when they host the Tulsa Oilers.
Rookie Head Coach Sylvain Cloutier will make his pre-season debut behind the bench tonight, as he will have some decisions to make to trim his roster from 28 to 19 by next Thursday.
The Bucks open the 2008-09 season at the LEC on October 17th against the Rocky Mountain Rage.
Season ticket prices stayed the same as they were last season, starting at just $34 a month (including playoffs). Call 718-BUCK (2825), or visit the LEC to speak to a Bucks ticket representative.
