The Bucks return home after finishing up a four-game road trip with a 2-2 record including taking two of three games in Arizona last week. On Friday the Bucks finished the busiest road stretch of the season. From Jan. 14th to Feb. 4th nine of 12 Bucks games were on the road. The Bucks finished 4-7-1 in that stretch (1-1-1 at home, 3-6 on road).
The Bucks are tied with the Killer Bees for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Berry Conference and are just three points back of Arizona for seventh and five points back of Odessa for sixth. After Thursday's contest the Bucks will have one game in hand over both the Sundogs and Jackalopes.
The Bucks have had plenty of success in kid's day games as they have an all-time record of 10-3 in them. The Bucks are 9-2 at home and 1-1 on the road all-time in kid's day games. Thursday's game is the first-ever kid's day meeting between Laredo and Odessa.
Laredo's next win will be the 550th career victory for Bucks President/General Manager and Head Coach Terry Ruskowski.
The Jackalopes are coming off of a home stand where they went a dismal 0-6. Odessa is starting a five-game road trip Thursday in Laredo.
Thursday's meeting is the final one between the Bucks and Jackalopes this season with Laredo posting a 2-3 record thus far against Odessa. The Bucks won the only meeting in Laredo so far this season taking a 4-2 win on November 2nd.
