"Bobby is the guy that I've been looking to get all summer", said Bucks Head Coach and General Manager Terry Ruskowski. "He can score, and do the little things that we need here. He played with Jeff Bes and Jeff had great things to say about him".

The Surrey, British Columbia Native spent the last three seasons playing overseas in France and Italy. Last season Russell split time with Italy's Cortina SG, and Bruneck SG, scoring eight goals, with six assists, for 14 points, in 15 just 15 games.

"We are excited to have him on our roster, hopefully he can make a difference for us this season", Ruskowski said.

The 6'2, 210 pound Russell has led his team in scoring in two separate seasons, in 2004-05 with Idaho (26-37=63), and in 2006-07 with Italy's Fassa HC (15-17=32).

AHL PROSPECT ZAORE INKS WITH BUCKS

Zaore, who is entering his second professional season, spent last year in the ECHL with the Johnstown Chiefs.

The 6'2, 200 pound Zaore (Pronounced Zor-AY) is participating in the Houston Aeros training camp this week, giving the Bucks four players that went to AHL camps this season (Zaore, Erick Lizon, Ryan Hand, Darryl Smith).

Last season Zaore spent his rookie campaign with the Johnstown Chiefs, scoring six goals, handing out seven assists for 13 points, to go along with 72 penalty minutes in 61 games played. Zaore played in two playoff games last year for the Chiefs.

"Zaore is very tough. It's what we need here this season. He will work very hard for us", Ruskowski said.

Prior to turning pro, Zaore spent five seasons playing Junior hockey in the QMJHL. He played his first four seasons (2002-2006) with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, before spending the 2006-07 season with the Victoriaville Tigres.

Zaore, a native of Ste-Foy , Quebec , played the 2002-03 season as a teammate of Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury. During that campaign, Zaore picked up seven points (2-5=7), and 63 penalty minutes.

The hard-nosed defenseman had two seasons of 100-plus penalty minutes in juniors, when he piled up 110 PIM's in 2004-05, and then a career high 139 in 2006-07.

ROOKIE MUDREWICH INKS, ROSTER AT 27
