Bucks Open Ninth Training Camp

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League began their 2010-11 training camp Monday morning at Laredo Energy Arena as they enter their ninth CHL season.
27 players will be competing in camp for 19 roster spots. The deadline for teams to have their rosters trimmed to 19 is Thursday October 14th, the eve of the season opener.
The Bucks will play two preseason games this week, starting on the road Thursday (Oct 7th) at Rio Grande Valley before hosting the Killer Bees on Friday (Oct 8th) at Laredo Energy Arena. ALL TICKETS for Friday's game are $5, call 718-BUCK (2825) to order. There will be a post-game skate following Friday's contest.
The Bucks are scheduled to make their first cuts on Saturday October 9th or Sunday October 10th.
The Bucks will start their ninth CHL season on October 15th with their home opener October 23rd against Rio Grande Valley at Laredo Energy Arena. Season tickets are on sale now for the 2010-11 season. Call 718-BUCK (2825) to place our order now.
