Despite allowing five goals, rookie goaltender Ryan Gibb impressed in his first professional game, as he stopped 47 of 52 Killer Bee shots to pick up the tough luck loss.
Sebastien Centomo is slated to get the start in net tonight against the Ice Rays.
After scoring three power-play goals in their season-opening 7-1 win, the Bucks have gone one for their last 14 with the man advantage, including 1-9 Friday night. Overall this season, laredo is 4-24 on the power-play through three games.
Adam Rivet will bring a two-game goal scoring streak into tonight's game, as he tallied Laredo's lone goal in their 2-1 loss to Bossier last Saturday, and scored the Buck's last goal in Friday's defeat.
The Ice Rays have been on both sides of two blowouts thus far this season, as they pounded Tulsa 12-3 in their season opener, before falling Friday night to Rapid City 8-2.
The Bucks will close out their three-game weekend by hosting Rapid City on Sunday at the LEC in a 4pm game. Group tickets start at just $10. Come check out the new "ONE BUCK DOLLAR MENU", with five concession stand items costing just one dollar. Call 718-BUCK (2825) to order your tickets.
*Bucky's Birthday On Sunday*
