The Bucks 2-1 loss last night to Corpus, along with the Texas Brahmas 4-1 win over Colorado, puts Laredo 12 points behind Texas in the Southeast Division entering play tonight.

A night after routing the Ice Rays at home 7-1, the Bucks couldn't copy that magic and fell in Corpus last night 2-1. Serge Dube netted the Bucks only goal of the game in the first period.

The Bucks leading scorers Brent Cullaton and Darryl Smith were held off the scoresheet last night in the loss to the Ice Rays. Cullaton enters tonight eighth in the League in scoring with 57 points (15-42=57), while Smith leads all CHL rookies with 51 points (25-26=51).

The Bucks bring a 18-5-1 home record into tonight's game against the Oilers. The bucks 18 home wins are tied for first in the CHL with Colorado.

After tonight and Tuesday's home games the Bucks will not play at the LEC again until February 26th, as they embark on a season high five game road trip.

Tulsa enters tonight in last place in the Northern Conference with just 30 points. The Oilers have lost seven of their last eight games, with their only win in that span a 2-1 home victory over Colorado Tuesday night.

The Oilers are led by All-Star Jeff Christian, who has put up 56 points (21-35=56).

The Bucks will host Rio Grande Valley in their annual McDonald's Kid's Day Game on Tuesday morning at the LEC, with a special start time of 11am. Kid's tickets are $13, which includes a meal and a gift bag. Call 718-BUCK (2825) to order tickets.
