In the second period the Bucks had an early shorthanded chance, but forward Brent Cullaton was stopped on a rush down the left side. The Gorillas tied the game when forward Dave Rattray took a pass in front and chipped the puck home at 16:38.

The Bucks dominated the chances in the third period out shooting the Gorillas 10-4, but were unable to score.
