The Waterloo Bucks (13-40, 3-15) fell by a 10-3 score to the Thunder Bay Border Cats (19-34, 6-11) on Saturday evening.
Brendan Hueth went 2-4 with a run scored, a double, and an RBI in the loss. Kevin Welsh stole a base, walked twice, and scored a run out of the leadoff spot.
The Bucks and the Border Cats close their series on Sunday afternoon at 2:05 p.m.
