Bucks Deliver Toys To Doctors Hospital

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League helped spread some holiday cheer today as they delivered toys to children at Doctors Hospital.

The team and members of the front office staff delivered toys to nearly 30 children today. The toys were donated by Bucks fans during the toy drive at the LEC.

This is an annual event for the Bucks, who always have been involved in the Laredo community.

The team arrived at the hospital at 2pm and were greeted by the staff, who then led the Bucks to the Children's ward on the second floor to start spreading some cheer, and hand out toys. The Bucks also posed for pictures and signed autographs. The Bucks will donate toys to the Doctors Hospital Children's Cancer Center as well.

The Bucks also participated in the annual Univision Toy Drive on December 6th helping collect the donated toys for the station.

The Bucks will travel to Odessa to take on the Jackalopes Thursday night, before hosting the Austin Ice Bats on Friday and Saturday.

On Saturday there will be a post-game jersey Auction as the Bucks will be wearing their 2007 Christmas Jerseys.

During the month of December Bucks fans can take advantage of the family four pack special, which includes four tickets, four hot dogs, and four drinks for the family friendly price of $48.

Until December 22nd Bucks fans can also take advantage of discounted merchandise from the Bucks team store. Season ticket holders will receive 25% off of merchandise, while non-season ticket holders get 15% off. Laredo Bucks gear makes a great holiday gift at a great price.
