Laredo Bucks News Release


LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League were once again out in the community in full force last week. Here is a list of where Bucks coaches, players, front office staff, and Bucky were last week, and where they are going this week. Look for the weekly Bucks community update on www.laredobucks.com.

This week the Bucks players and staff will attend several local schools. On Monday Darryl Smith, Vincent Zaore and Director of Public Relations Nicole Kupaks will visit Zachary Elementary. On Tuesday Matt Summers, Ryan Gibb and Kupaks will visit Tarver Elementary. And on Wednesday Jason Dixon, Gibb and Kupaks will visit Santa Nino, with Adam Rivet, Igor Agarunov, Alex Goupil and Director of Media Relations and Broadcasting Bryan Benway attending a pep rally at Killam Elementary.

Below is a list of the events the Bucks organization attended last week, and will attend this week.

WHERE WE'VE BEEN (October 20th October 25th):

Monday, October 20th: Director of Public Relations Nicole Kupaks and Account Executive Kyle Reynolds attended the Gateway Rotary Meeting, at Embassy Suites.

Tuesday, October 21st: Director of Ticket Sales Rory Brady attended the Veteran's Meeting, at American Legion Post 59.

Tuesday, October 21st: Head Coach and General Manager Terry Ruskowski, Serge Dube and Adam Rivet participated in the UISD Fashion Show, at the Laredo Country Club.

Wednesday, October 22nd: Account Executive Justin Farris attended the Laredo Rotary meeting, at the Holiday Inn.

Wednesday, October 22nd: Account Executive Kyle Reynolds attended the Laredo Next-Generation Rotary Meeting, at Hal's Landing.

Thursday, October 23rd: Corporate Partnership Executive JR Rathbun attended the Ribbon Cutting Celebration for Anahi's Snack & Restaurants & Extreme Figure Gym & Spa, 399 Loop 20 Suites 2&3.

Thursday, October 23rd: Ryan Fuller, Devin Featherstone, Joey Moggach, Nicole Kupaks and Arturo Ortega visited Wiggle's Children's Rehab, 1403 N. Seymour Ave.

Friday October 24th: The Laredo Bucks Staff attended the Ribbon Cutting Celebration for Imagen 94.1, 213 W. Village Blvd. Ste. 7.

Saturday, October 25th: Laredo Bucks staff along with Bucky was at Mall del Norte.

WHERE WE'RE GOING (October 27th -November 1st):

Monday, October 27th: Director of Public Relations Nicole Kupaks, Darryl Smith and Vincent Zaore will attend the Gateway Rotary Meeting, at Embassy Suites, at noon.

Wednesday, October 29th: Account Executive Kyle Reynolds will attend the Laredo Next-Generation Rotary Meeting, at Hal's Landing, at 7pm.

Since 2001 the Laredo Bucks take pride that they have been heavily involved in the Laredo community. The Bucks front office, coaching staff, players and Bucky have appeared at over 425 events in 2008, and look forward to many more.

The Bucks will play another three-in-three of the season this weekend, when they host Corpus Christi on Thursday for Big Buck Thirsty Thursday, where beer will be $2. Group tickets start at $10, come and check out the new "One Buck Dollar Menu", with five concession stand items costing just $5.

The Bucks have announced that they will offer mini-plan packages for the first time ever during the 2008-09 season.

Packages start at $60, and fans can choose from three different plans, the Special Event Package, the Weekend Package, or the Thirsty Thursday Package.
