Arizona Sundogs Foundation Donates $42,000, Announces 2008-09 Team Up For Hope Partners

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The 2008 Central Hockey League Ray Miron President's Cup Champion Arizona Sundogs recently closed out their 2007-08 season charitable efforts with a $42,000 donation to their 'Team Up For Hope' partners.

Individual donations of $7,000 each were presented to representatives of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Arizona, Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters, Special Olympics Arizona, Trauma Intervention Programs of Arizona, Prescott Area Habitat for Humanity and Yavapai Food Bank.

The Arizona Sundogs Foundation also presented its 'Team Up For Hope' partners with checks for $6,000 each on Friday, Feb. 22 as the Sundogs skated against the New Mexico Scorpions during the 2007-08 campaign.

In total, the Arizona Sundogs Foundation donated $78,000 to its 'Team Up For Hope' partners during the 2007-08 season. Since its inception prior to the 2006-07 season, the Arizona Sundogs Foundation has raised nearly $250,000 and has distributed more than $200,000 to charities throughout Northern Arizona.

In addition, the Arizona Sundogs and The Arizona Sundogs Foundation have announced their 'Team Up For Hope' partners for the 2008-09 campaign. Partners for the year include Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Arizona, Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters, Special Olympics Arizona, Prescott Area Habitat for Humanity, Yavapai Food Bank and Prevent Child Abuse Arizona.
