LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League host the Odessa Jackalopes tonight at the Laredo Entertainment Center on St. Patrick's Day. Game time is 7pm. Celebrate Saint Patrick's Day the right way by drinking green beer all game long! The Bucks will wear special Saint Patrick's Day jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game. Laredo's magic number to clinch the third seed in Southern Conference playoffs sits at two points. The Bucks can clinch the third spot with a win tonight or a Texas regulation loss to Rapid City, or if both the Bucks and Brahmas lose in OT/SO.
The Bucks enter tonight on a three-game winning streak thanks to Sunday's 3-2 shootout win in Texas.
Laredo returns home tonight where they are 7-1-2 in their last 10 games.
The Bucks and Jackalopes will play for the sixth out of seven meetings tonight with Laredo earning points in four of the previous give games against Odessa (1-1-3).
Laredo's lone win against Odessa so far this season came in a 6-1 rout on December 5th in Laredo. The Bucks have lost four one-goal games to the Jackalopes this season including three coming in a shootout.
Odessa can clinch the Governor's Cup Regular season Championship with a win tonight in Laredo.
The Bucks and 'Jacks will meet again Friday night in Odessa.

The Bucks will hold the first annual community job fair presented by Staff Connection on Saturday March 20th at the Laredo Entertainment Center.
The job fair is from 12-5pm followed by a tailgate mixer before the Bucks host Wichita in their regular season finale at the LEC. Admission to the job fair is FREE with applicants getting to meet with around 20 companies that day. For more information call 718-BUCK (2825).
