NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League start a brief two-game road trip Friday when they travel to take on the Texas Brahmas at the NYTEX Sports Center. Game time is 7:05pm.

Laredo can increase their lead over Texas for third place in the Southern Conference with a victory Friday night. The Bucks enter the contest one point ahead of the Brahmas with the two teams having played 45 games apiece.
The Bucks are currently on a three-game winning streak having beat Rio Grande Valley (Feb 5th), Amarillo (Feb 6th) and Corpus (Feb 9th). Laredo's three-game winning streak is their first since November 6th-15th when they won four straight games.
After losing the first meeting of the season with the Brahmas on November 21st the Bucks have won two straight against them (Jan. 3rd won 4-3, Jan. 29th won 3-1).* *
Laredo starts their third straight weekend three-in-three Friday night. Starting the weekend of Jan 29th Bucks will play three games in three nights in seven straight weekends. In all, from January 29th-March 14th the Bucks will play 22 games in 44 days (10 home, 9 away). They are 4-2-1 in that span.
The Brahmas play Friday for the first time since winning back-to-back come-from-behind road games last weekend against Corpus and Bossier-Shreveport. The Brahmas beat the Ice Rays and Mudbugs each by 3-2 scores.
The Bucks are at Rio Grande Valley Saturday night at the State Farm Arena. Game time is 7:35pm.
