The Bucks start a four-game road trip Tuesday as they try and extend their lead over the Killer Bees for the third seed in the Southern Conference. Laredo enter's Tuesday's game four points ahead of Rio in the standings, and can extend the advantage to six points with a win.

Laredo has struggled as of late going 0-3-1 in their last four games, including 0-2-1 at the LEC in that stretch.

The Bucks 4-1 loss to Corpus on Sunday clinched the Southeast Division for the Texas Brahmas, and ended Laredo's five-year run as Division Champs.

Playing Tuesday morning could be the fix the Bucks need, as they have a solid record in Kid's Day Games. Laredo is 9-2 all-time in Kid's Day games, including 2-1 against the Bees. However Rio beat the Bucks 5-4 on February 10th in Laredo's annual Kid's Day.

Brent Cullaton, who is tied for eighth in the CHL in scoring, leads the Bucks with 69 points (19-50=69).

James Hiebert will play in his second game since returning to the Bucks on Sunday. Hiebert picked up nine penalty minutes in his return Sunday, and participated in his first practice with the team Monday.

The Killer Bees had two points taken away from them by the league over the weekend for playing with an ineligable player in three games last week. The Killer Bees 6-2 win over Arizona on February 24 will still count as a victory, but the points were taken away.

Rio swept a big three-game series in Arizona last week, winning one game in overtime, and another one in a shootout.

In the Killer Bee's win on Friday night Jesse Bennefield set franchise records in single season goals (32) and points (65). Bennefield also has 33 assists on the year.

The Bucks continue their four game road trip this weekend in Amarillo and Texas.

Laredo will return home for their final two regular season home games when they take on the Texas Brahmas on March 18th-19th at the LEC.
