Bakersfield Blitz mascot Crusher will be at Redwood Elementary School beginning at 1:30pm for their attendance ceremony. Crusher will be handing out awards to children who have achieved outstanding attendance. Redwood Elementary School is located at 331 Shafter Avenue in Shafter.
Monday, May 24th - Bakersfield Sports Entertainment's President Matthew Riley will be a guest on KERN 1410 AM's show "Money Wise" beginning at 3:00pm.
Tuesday, May 25th - Bakersfield Sports Entertainment's Director of Community Relations & Development John Ayre will be at Emerson School's Career Day from 8:00am - 10:30am. Emerson Middle School is located at 801 4th Street in Bakersfield.
Wednesday, May 26th - Select Bakersfield Blitz players and Crusher will be attending Colonel Howard Nichols School for their attendance awards ceremony beginning at 9:00am. Students will be receiving free tickets to the June 5th Bakersfield Blitz game vs. the Hawaiian Islanders for achieving outstanding attendance as a part of the Blitz Summer Excellence program. Nichols School is located 3401 Renegade Avenue in Bakersfield.
Thursday, May 27th - Come on down to the Holiday Inn Select for the Indoor War Report with Blitz Head Coach Rick Van Horne, as well as select Blitz players from 6:00pm - 7:00pm. The IWR is a great chance for fans to meet their favorite members of the 2004 Blitz as well as win great prizes. The Holiday Inn Select is located at the corner of Truxtun Avenue and Q Street. The show can also be heard live each week on KGEO AM 1230.
Friday, May 28th - Join Crusher as he visits Claude W. Richardson Child Development Center's Annual Carnival from 6:00pm - 7:30pm. Richardson Center is located at 1515 Feliz Drive.
