Austin Bruins News Release
The Austin Bruins made their second stop on their Thanksgiving road trip in Minot North Dakota. The Bruins started the scoring as Austin Nelson was set up by John Kirby and Charlie Adams. At the first intermission Austin led Minot 1-0. The Second period the Bruins went back to work on the power play. Christian Folin found the back of the net, assists went to John Kirby and Brandon Wahlin. Austin added another on the power play as John Kirby went upstairs, assisting was Brandon Wahlin and Jon Gehrt. The Bruins led 2-0 at the second intermission. The final frame Austin continued to pour it on. Nicholas Lehr recorded a shutout as the Bruins won 3-0. The Bruins will wrap up their road trip tomorrow evening in Alexandria.
