Amarillo Bulls News Release

TOPEKA, KS - The start of a second set of a half-a-dozen road games faces off tonight (Friday) for the Amarillo Bulls when they visit the Topeka RoadRunners at the Kansas Expo Center-Landon Arena at 7 pm.

The Bulls concluded a previous stretch of six away games by posting a 4-2 mark, including 3-1 last weekend. This upcoming string of road play includes visits to Fresno, California and Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

The weekend series with the RoadRunners serves as the last visit by Amarillo to Topeka during the regular season. The two teams will play a Friday and Saturday series in Amarillo in mid-January.

The Bulls remain in first place in the South Division with a mark of 18-3-3 and a four-point lead over the second place Texas Tornado. The RoadRunners are third, nine points back.

Both teams enter the game following recent set-backs. The Bulls dropped a 4-3 overtime decision to the Wichita Falls Wildcats on home ice on Wednesday night, while Topeka was shutout at home by the Springfield Jr. Blues last Saturday night.

Fans can tune into the game live on ESPN1440 and www.amarillobulls.com fueled by UStream, beginning with The Bulls Warm Up Show Presented By Wayland Baptist University at 6:45 pm. Denis J. Puska has the hard-hitting action at 7 pm. The game is also available on Pay-Per-View courtesy of Fast Hockey and a high speed internet connection is required in order to view the game.

The Amarillo Bulls return to the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center on Friday, Dec. 16 when they host the Odessa Jackalopes at 7 pm. It's the 2nd annual Teddy Bear Toss, and fans are encouraged to bring a new or gently used Teddy Bear or stuffed animal to the game. When the Bulls score their first goal, fans are asked to toss the toys onto the ice.

Tickets are available at the Bulls Hockey Office located at 301 South Polk, Suite 101, in the Amarillo Building, Civic Center Box Office and all Panhandle Ticket Outlets, including United Supermarkets.
