Manchester, NH (August 6, 2007)- The Boston Bruins return to the Granite State when they host the New Jersey Devils in an NHL pre-season game Thursday, September 20th at the Verizon Wireless Arena. Face-off is set for 7:00pm.

The game marks the first time new Bruins head coach Claude Julien faces his former Devils squad. Julien coached the Devils to the second-best record in the Eastern Conference before being replaced by GM Lou Lamoriello on April 2, 2007.

Boston recently acquired veteran goaltender Manny Fernandez from the Minnesota Wild. Other key Bruins players expected to play include Zdeno Chara, Glen Murray, Marc Savard, and Patrice Bergeron.

The New Jersey Devils are led by three-time Stanley Cup winning goalie Martin Brodeur.

The game is powered by Dodge, official car and truck of the Verizon Wireless Arena.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, August 14th at 10:00am, and are priced at $46.00, $36.00, $31.00 and $26.00. Manchester Monarchs season ticket holders can purchase their seats at a discount at the Verizon Wireless Arena box office until 5:00pm, Friday, August 10th.
