Bruins Make Trade

Chilliwack Bruins News Release


The Chilliwack Bruins announced today that they have traded goaltender Mark Friesen to the Swift Current Broncos in exchange for a third round selection in the 2010 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft. The Bruins also announced that 18 year old goaltender Braden Gamble has joined the team from the Drumheller Dragons of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. "We'd like to thank Mark for his dedicated service to the Bruins over the last few years and wish him all the best in Swift Current," said Bruins General Manager and Head Coach Marc Habscheid. Gamble, who hails from North Star Alberta has appeared in 26 games this season for Drumheller, recording seven wins with a goals against average of 4.01 and a save percentage of 89.8. Gamble will join the Bruins in time for tonight's game vs the Kootenay Ice.
