Bruins in Edmonton Tonight

The Bruins finish their five game road trip through Alberta tonight when they visit the Edmonton Oil Kings. Chilliwack is an even 2-2-0-0 on the trip after a 3-1 setback in Red Deer Wednesday night, and are currently in fourth place in the BC Division with 33 points. They trail the first place Vancouver Giants by four points with one game in hand.

The Bruins will be without the services of Roman Horak and Robin Soudek who are both attending the Czech Republic's World Junior Selection Camp in Detroit. Defenceman Jesse Pauls is out indefinitely with a leg injury while Captain Brandon Manning is day to day with a groin injury.

The Oil Kings are the hottest team in the league, having won eight of their past ten games. Edmonton forward Michael St.Croix has points in 11 straight games (8g 16a) and now has 43 points to lead the Oil Kings offensively.

Edmonton defenceman Mark Pysyk, a first round selection of the Buffalo Sabres was among the final cuts at Canada's National Junior Team Selection Camp.
