
Bruins Chilled in Sunday Loss

Austin Bruins News Release
The Bruins faced off against the Coulee Region Chill this Sunday evening. The Bruins come into action with a split on the weekend. The Bruins are 12-12-1 in the 2011 portion of the Expansion season. The opening period from Onalaska Wisconsin was a solid one for the Bruins. The Chill got things started when Berkley Scott scored on the power play. The Bruins struck back with a goal from Sam Olson assisting on the tally was Cody Hotchkin and Trevor Waldoch. At the first intermission the Bruins and Chill were tied at one. The second period of play was all chill as Coulee Region added four goals in the second period. At the second intermission the Bruins trailed 5-1. The final frame the Bruins could not fill the net as Paul Moberg stopped 47 pucks. The Bruins lose to the Chill 5-1. The Bruins will be in action next weekend as they will wrap up the Expansion season. The road trip starts in Aberdeen and ends against the Chill. Tune into fast hockey.com for live play by play.
