
Bulls Can Clinch 2nd Place And Home Ice With Win Tonight

AMARILLO, TX - It is another big game tonight (Sunday) in the short history of the Amarillo Bulls franchise.
The Bulls will try to lock up second place and home ice in the first round of the NAHL South Division playoffs with win over the Corpus Christi IceRays at 6 pm. Part of the goal was achieved last night when the Bulls rallied late to be the IceRays 3-2 thanks to the heroics of TJ Sarcona. The victory propelled the Bulls into a tie for 2nd place, but moved them ahead of the Texas Tornado because of more wins. Texas is off again today and only has one game remaining in their regular season.
It's Family Frenzy night and a special ticket package is available. For $40 fans can pick up four tickets and four hotdogs. OTHER NOTES: The Amarillo Bulls power play continues to rise on home ice following two more goals last night. The team has climbed into 12th in the NAHL. Meantime, the Bulls penalty killing last night shutdown the IceRays in their attempts and that has helped Amarillo climb into the top ten overall. The three goals scored by the Bulls last night put their total at the Amarillo Civic Center to 107 this season which ranks fourth among NAHL teams. The Wenatchee Wild lead the way with 122, followed by Motor City.
